About me

I help women who feel stuck to achieve their goals via fitness, nutrition & therapeutic life coaching. And because I’ve dedicated my coaching career to helping women I’ve developed specialisms in:

1) female life changes (pregnancy, postnatal recovery, the peri- to post menopause transition & female surgeries)

2) pelvic health, because of the role it plays in both the physical and emotional wellbeing of so many women; and

3) neurodivergence (particularly women with Autism & / or ADHD🌻) — whether formally diagnosed, self-identified or in those around them.

At its core, my mission is simple: to help women make empowered, lasting change to improve the quality of their health and their lives, in whatever manner is right for them.

💙💚💜🤍

“I am my own invention” (my mantra in life) and you are your own invention too. This is my third reincarnation of myself professionally and I’m sure it won’t be the last. Since I made the jump from a 16-year career as a chartered accountant & tax advisor at PwC to the world of health and wellness I’ve never looked back.

Female Fitness Matters was born out of the desire to educate myself, and others, on the importance of female fitness, wellbeing and pelvic health during pregnancy and postnatal recovery. Believing deeply that every woman deserves to feel good about her body and to move freely without pain, leaking or concerns over abdominal strength I had an amazing time helping thousands of women across South Birmingham and Solihull to stay active during pregnancy, to recover post birth & to build their much needed tribes. And I thank them all for trusting me and for helping me to grow. (Much love to Jenny & the HCR® massive for this too)

Fast-forward a few years…I’m older (maybe wiser), perimenopausal and it’s become increasingly apparent that women have never had more on their plates. And in a world where we’ve never had more information about health and wellness, we’ve never been less healthy and well. Why is that? Why aren’t we prioritising ourselves and what truly matters to us? And why is neurodivergence / neurodiversity (depending on your perspective) still so badly understood and supported, especially in women?

So here I am…going deeper. Wanting to still help women to look and feel good, but with a real focus on facilitating sustainable change that really speaks to the heart of what matters. More joy, more ease, more freedom and more fun.
